Granting Temporary Access for DayBack Support

Having trouble? We’d love to take a closer look at your setup to help sort things out.

What's Your Platform?

Salesforce Users

We're happy to take a look at your DayBack setup in your Salesforce Org. If that sounds good, here’s how to grant us temporary login access. We won't change any of your settings without your permission:

  1. Go to your personal account settings by clicking on your Avatar icon.
  2. Click either Grant Account Login Access or Grant Login Access (whichever you see) to grant access to the author of DayBack: SeedCode.
  3. Choose how long you’d like to give us access — all login access is temporary.
  4. Not sure where to find your account settings? Check out these Salesforce instructions for help.

Can’t find these options in your account settings? You might need admin permission to grant access. Ask your admin to:

  • Go to Setup, search for "Login Access Policies"
  • Find "SeedCode Support" and check "Available to Users". Once enabled, you should see the options to grant us access.

Help us find your account by sending us your Org ID:

Your Org ID is a digital address that helps us locate your account quickly. Just follow these simple steps to find it.

Grant access to the environment experiencing the problem:

Let us know if the issue is your Production or Sandbox environment. Please grant access to the environment where the issue is visible and contains the specific data necessary for us to diagnose the problem. If the problem is unique to one environment, ensure access is provided to that particular environment.

FileMaker Users

While many issues can be resolved without direct access to your file, there are times when we might need a closer look to pinpoint the problem. Here's what we'd need:

Share Live Data:

Please share a recent copy of your file with live, representative data that illustrates the issue. An empty database or test data may not show us the full picture.

Provide Full Access Login Credentials:

  • If we require login credentials to access your file or server, please use One Time Secret. This service creates a secure, one-time link that we can use to retrieve your credentials without them being sent directly over email.
  • If you're running DayBack for FileMaker 19, we'll also need your DayBack credentials. You can change your password to a temporary one in the "Me: " section of the administrator settings, which you can access directly in your browser.

Here’s how to securely share your file:

  • Using Google Drive:
    • Set the file access to "anyone with the link" and email the link to [email protected].
    • We will notify you once the file is safely downloaded, so you can then change the file access back to "Restricted."
  • Using WeTransfer:
  • Providing Server Access Instead:
    • Please provide the server name along with a full access username and password.

We appreciate you working with our team and look forward to helping you resolve your issue swiftly!

I'm Not Sure:

No worries! All we need is the email address of the account associated with your subscription. If you're not sure of the email address, simply tell us more about your organization, and we'll be happy to look you up!
